As Chair of SC 40 Jan attended the meeting of ISO/IEC JTC 1 to be hosted by the Bureau of Indian Standards.

Jan chaired the SC40 Plenary and Working Group Meetings hosted by the Association Française de Normalisation (AFNOR).

As Chair of SC 40 Jan attended the 34th Meeting of ISO/IEC JTC 1 hosted by the Swedish Standards Institute.
Topics of interest include Governance Implications of the Use of Artificial Intelligence, Emerging Technologies, Smart Cities and Trustworthiness.
Standards Australia hosted the working groups of ISO/IEC JTC1 SC40 IT Service Management and IT Governance Committee.
Jan presented on aspects of logistics that support digital trade, with case studies on interoperability, service management and Governance.
Part of a broader government cooperation initiative to expand bilateral political and economic linkages between ASEAN and Australia and strengthen regional security and prosperity. The initiative aims to identify opportunities for the medium to longer term between ASEAN Member States (AMS) and Australia, to support international Standards harmonisation and digital trade.
